Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Localistic (localistic.app), a set of free, browser-based tools for game developers made and run by Murad Elboudy ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. The service

Localistic offers free tools that convert, generate and edit images, 3D models and audio. The tools run entirely in your browser: your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us. No account is needed. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

2. Your files and results

• You keep all rights to the files you open in Localistic. Because they never leave your device, we don't receive, store or claim any rights to them.
• Everything you create with the tools (converted files, maps, atlases, LODs, sound variations and so on) is yours to use for any purpose, including commercial projects. No credit to Localistic is required.
• You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and modify the files you process.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site for anything illegal;
• try to disrupt, overload or break the site or the servers it runs on;
• copy, resell or republish the site, its code or its design as your own service.

4. Our content

The Localistic name, logo, design and code belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them, except to use the site as intended.

5. Ads, analytics and third parties

The site is kept free by ads from Google AdSense, uses Google Analytics to understand traffic, and includes a donation button provided by Ko-fi. These services are run by third parties under their own terms. See our Privacy Policy for details. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of external websites linked from Localistic.

6. Donations

Donations through Ko-fi are voluntary and don't buy any extra features, support or rights. Payments are handled by Ko-fi under Ko-fi's terms.

7. No warranty

Localistic is provided free, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make the tools reliable, but we can't guarantee that they are error-free, that results will be exactly what you expect, or that the site will always be available. Always keep a copy of your original files.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, Localistic. This includes lost or damaged files, lost work and lost profits.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
